Four Seasons Pheasants Forever is looking for people to help clean up the Morse Lake area.  Saturday, April 29, 2017.  Meet at the boat ramp at 9:00 a.m.  Grilled burgers and hotdogs along refreshments will be provided for lunch.  Bring a raincoat.

Middle School Students:  Since school will soon need to sadly end for the summer, I am requesting that there will not be any book check outs after May 19th.  I will be trying to get all books back and on the shelves for inventory. There have been some date changes for Drivers Ed.  The new dates will start in May 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th and 31st after school from 3:30-5:30.  June 1 and 2 will be 8-10 in the morning. All t he other dates will not change through the 13th of May.  Any questions contact Mr. Harker.

 

Girls and boys in grades 4, 5, 6, & 7 are invited to explore the fun of making their own play in 4 sessions with the 4th session including a free performance for their family and friends.  This is offered at the Iowa River Players Community Theater in Rowan in a program called Dramapalooza.   

Registration is online at  iowariverplayerstheater.org.  Drama Workshop begins Saturday, May 6 at 1:30-3:30 and continues on Sunday afternoon, 1:30-3:30. The same schedule repeats the next weekend, May 13th and 14, with a performance for friends and family at 3:30 on Sunday.

All participants are especially invited to try out for "Charlotte's Web" (May 22 and 23 @ 6:30-7:30).

Music Boosters are looking for some friendly students to help serve cookies and juice at the high school concert that will be on May 9th. The sign up sheet is outside my office. If you are going to be at the concert anyway, this will be one way for you to help out and get hours.

 

One more opportunity to help out. Would you like to serve breakfast to the teachers on Teacher Appreciation Day on May 2nd? Sign up sheet is posted by Mrs. Askelsen’s door.

There have been some date changes for Drivers Ed.  The new dates will start in May 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th and 31st after school from 3:30-5:30.  June 1 and 2 will be 8-10 in the morning. All t he other dates will not change through the 13th of May.  Any questions contact Mr. Harker.

 

Girls and boys in grades 4, 5, 6, & 7 are invited to explore the fun of making their own play in 4 sessions with the 4th session including a free performance for their family and friends.  This is offered at the Iowa River Players Community Theater in Rowan in a program called Dramapalooza.   

Registration is online at  iowariverplayerstheater.org.  Drama Workshop begins Saturday, May 6 at 1:30-3:30 and continues on Sunday afternoon, 1:30-3:30. The same schedule repeats the next weekend, May 13th and 14, with a performance for friends and family at 3:30 on Sunday.

All participants are especially invited to try out for "Charlotte's Web" (May 22 and 23 @ 6:30-7:30).

Peer Helper meetings with all Peer Helpers this week.  6th, 7th, and 8th grade peer helpers, have all your information updated in your folders.  8th grade Peer Helpers meet Tuesday @ 12:30.  Bring a to Mrs. Askelsen’s room.  Use a Styrofoam tray from the kitchen.

 

Peer Helpers please check chart to see if there are any other events or hours that need to be added to your charts. Mrs. Askelsen can be emailed or you can turn in the sheet given to you to record hours. Also, please document all Peer Helper activities and hours.  We will begin meeting several days next week.

 

Music Boosters are looking for some friendly students to help serve cookies and juice at the high school concert that will be on May 9th. The sign up sheet is outside my office. If you are going to be at the concert anyway, this will be one way for you to help out and get hours.
