HB - No HB for 7/8th Grade Today or The Rest of the Week.

 

6th Grade will run a regular EO schedule today, Wednesday, and Thursday. They will run only their morning classes and Last period (No S.S. Exploratory, PE or Chorus)

 

Early Dismissal Today @ 1:30 for Student Led Conferences.

 

IF we are able to go outside for recess please stay on the sport court and out of the mud to keep the halls clean for conferences.

 

The MS Battle of the Books (BOB) competition will be Friday, March 31st at the AEA267 in Cedar Falls. The MS BOB team will be gone all day, leaving before school starts and back at the end of the day before buses leave. Team members should get homework sheets before the day of the competition. Members of the BOB team are: Alexis Gardalen, Christian Gaytan, Kylie Greenfield, Natalie Kirstein, Kara Legleiter, Jaidyn Lockwood & Nathan Stuck.

 

The City of Clarion is now accepting applications for summer help at the aquatic center. You must be at least 14 years old by May.

Music Boosters are looking for some friendly students to help serve cookies and juice at the high school concert that will be on May 9th. The sign up sheet is outside my office.

Starting today Library recess students are asked to please take a break from enjoying their library during recess just during the book fair.  The book fair will be a busy, busy place!  The book fair will start March 17 and run through conferences.  Thanks for your cooperation.

Do you like to paint? Here is an opportunity for you. The City of Clarion needs very responsible students to paint the inside of the swimming pool. All materials will be supplied. Sign up is on Mrs. Askelsen’s wall. I will turn in the names to the Public Works Director. Ask your parents if this is something they think you have time to do or could do BEFORE you sign up.

Drivers Ed information-parents need to attend the first class of Drivers Ed this year.  The first class will be Saturday, March 11 at 8 a.m. at the high school.  Students, you do not have to have their permits before Saturday in order to take the class.
